markrtibbetts got their new other business or advertising by running a design contest:
B&W 1/4 Page Print Advertisement-- Promoting Light Bulb Recycling
Check out markrtibbetts's Other business or advertising contest…
NEMA administers a mercury-added (fluorescent) lamp (light bulb) recycling program in two Northern New England states (Maine and Vermont). The program provides no-cost (free) recycling through the voluntary participation of over 400 retail and municipal (local government managed) collection locations.
What's your vision?
We need a 1/4 page black and white print advertisement for publication in two newspapers. We need the same advertisement in two sizes-- 4.94 x 10.50 inches & 5 x 10.50 inches). See the attached document for a sketch of our needs. The key messages in the creative must include a reference to 1) Free recycling, 2) reference to fluorescent and CF's (compact fluorescent lamps), 3) that these types of bulbs contain mercury. The advertisement must include a visual representation of these types of lightbulbs (stock images are available). The advertisement should include the URL: www.lamprecycle.org/state-local-laws/maine/ Finally, we'd strongly prefer an ad that includes the logo from the www.lamprecycle.org website, however, we don't have access to the art file so the designer will need to recreate that image in the advertisement.
A simple, sparse design will be preferred over more elaborate design. Again, it will be a B&W advertisement. The creative must include images of more than one fluorescent lamp type. The ad will be placed in the Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News (Maine, USA publications). Feel free to use the text in the attached file verbatim or modified slightly to fit the space/design elements.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Other business or advertising starts at €179.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
