Food & Drink
Bring homemade, traditional, authentic Belgian Gourmet food to the Australian public
What's your vision?
The idea is to design the prints that are to come on the outside of our food trailer. It is 4,5m long and about 2m heigh, 2.1m wide.and has 4 sides. The design has to cover at least 2 sides of our food trailer: 1 with 2 serving windows (covering the better part of that side) and the opposite side which does not contain serving windows/doors or anything. Both serving windows are 1.7m wide and 0.97m high. The space between the serving windows and the edge of the trailer is 0.32m both left and right. In between the serving windows, there is 0.12m. The trailer is currently white-ish but feel free to use a different background color. Alternatively, a somewhat transparant background formed by one or several images of landmarks of Belgium may also be used. Please experiment with this as much as you want. The image we want to get out to the public is one of classy, gourmet food, not fast food. Therefore, the design must be both classy and sober and appealing to both young and old, male and female. The design has to make our trailer stand out from the crowd without being too flashy. It has to be classy before all. If at all possible, try to use the 3 colors of the Belgian flag (black, yellow and red) throughout the design. The food we bring is: Belgian waffles (Brussels, Liége, Stick), Belgian chocolates (pralines), ice cream (quality ice cream, not soft ice), coffee, Belgian fries (similar to French fries) and sausages (Belgian style). Feel free to either use quality images of ALL of the above food or NO images of food at all in the design. At the very least, the design should contain the following: -) our logo should be clearly visible and noticeable in the design but it is not to overpower everything else in the design. -) some sort of reference to Belgium (for instance a map of Belgium (the whole country) highlighting the cities of Brussels and Liége). As mentioned before, alternatively, one or more images representing Belgian landmarks (historical buildings, sites, ...) can also be used. -) empty spot on the the serving where our menu will come. -) reference to our website (http://www.belgiangourmet.com.au) -) reference to our telno: mobile 0498 666 025 -) reference to the fact that we cater for private functions, markets and festivals -) the words 'authentic flavors' should also be visible on the trailer to stress the fact that we are Belgians bringing Belgian food in an authentic way Extra info on dimensions: -) licence plate on rear end of trailer: 13 cm high and 37 cm wide. It is positioned 80 cm high (from the metal striping on the bottom of the trailer). -) water heater on rear end of trailer: the heater itself (metal box) is 58 cm high and 29 cm wide. It is positioned 14 cm from the top and 8 cm from the right hand side of the trailer. -) Underneath the water heater, there is a metal thing that is 45 cm high and 15 cm wide. This thing is positioned 23 cm underneath the water heater and 17 cm from the right hand side of the trailer. -) air vent on bottom of rear end of trailer: it is about 15 cms high and 23 cms wide and is positioned about 15 cm from the bottom -) air vent on top of front side of trailer: it is about 15 cms high and 23 cms wide and is positioned about 6 cm from the top Feel free to get back to us in case of questions ... Good luck !
