Collins Family Home External Architectural Drawings

We are renovating the external aspect of our home and looking for updated external renderings.

We are looking for help designing the external architectural drawings of our home renovation project (no 3-D model is needed). We will be placing new wood siding, new windows, a new metal roof, adding an external garage and adding an outside patio to the current existing plans. We are open to new ideas for the design of the silos as well as the cement/field stone portion part of the house. We are looking to incorporate a more industrial/modern design into the existing historical structure. We also need a layout for the landscaping of the property, for example, we plan to add a basketball and tennis court to the back of the house and turn the front portion into a lower maintenance garden/ patio area. Our starting idea for the siding, is to do vertical orientated siding on the North and South Walls and horizontal siding on the east and west walls, however we are open to new design ideas.

Currently, the windows have been installed. I have taken recent pictures to show the design and style of the windows as some have been added and the new windows are more modern without grids or grilles in them. On the west wall, you will see a garage door has been added and that is what the deck we are adding will come off of. On the North wall to the east of the silo we will be adding an external 2-car garage. We are open to design ideas for this area but we are thinking about making the roof of the garage flat so that we can eventually have an upper level deck that is accessible from the bar room above it. The block glass on the east wall is planning to remain unchanged for this first phase of renovations. Please note as well that 4 skylights have been placed as well as a new window on the north elevation. The windows are currently white on outside however they can be painted if a darker color looks better with the siding. I have also posted an image of a sample of window framing that we may you around each of the windows. On the west wall there is a shed coming off the basement level that we want to keep for now (renderings show it being removed); also on this west wall you will see 3 small picture windows at the top right corner that we are including in the external design.
