The Business has two purposes. 1. Consciously, rationally, and logically identify, understand, eliminate and expose all the bullshit in the world. 2. Record, instruct, explore, celebrate and discover the joys of living in a van. The Business name has not been completely decided, however it will deal with both bullshit and vandwelling. I will be mostly a video blogger.
What's your vision?
I'm excited to see your designs! You like designing and I want you to be able to have fun with this design. This is fun for me and I'm excited to get a professional looking background for my youtube channel and website. Because the business is based on identifying and discovering all the bullshit we encounter and how to deal with it, I made the choice to live in a van and live life on my terms. Van dwelling and living in a van are a main theme along with simplifying your life and eliminating the unnecessary things, thoughts, habits, actions and goals that we have that are based purely upon bullshit that someone has fed us. As for the design I want both a youtube channel background and a fixed website/blog background that match and portray the same company image. I imagine the website background divided diagonally from the top right side (not necessarily the top right corner possibly only to about 1/3 of the top area and header area) all the way to the bottom left corner. On the left half it will portray the dealing with bullshit side of the business, and on the right half it will deal with van dwelling. I want the overall appearance to be a darker shade to help accent the video and text. (don't be afraid to use color though) I am open to any creative ideas on your end, however what I wrote above is what I initially imagine. I will attach two photos, on with a bullshit stamp that I like and another of a picture of my van and a nice mountainous background. I like both of these images and think they could be combined in some artistic, creative way to portray the purpose of my site instantly. If you want to see the basic layout of my site you can see it at www.bullshitbox.com (i will also add two screen shots of the site.. the images in the slider will change however they are what I have now) Again, i want the background to be fixed so when the user scrolls the image will not move.
All i need is background image creation for youtube and a website. (if the image is good enough they can be the same image) If they are slightly different that is also ok. If they are very different but still present the same image that is also ok with me. I do like the color red and see it playing a role in my new design. I'm excited to see your work and will happily award the prize money to the best design :-)
