What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We have a flooring store with a variety of vinyl flooring products. Our goal is to create realistic room views for products that have no previous examples. Most of our images are flat, scanned in images and appear standing up or flat on the product listings. Ideally to take a tile or rectangular plank and create a tiled version displayed in multiple room settings would be great. We want customers to see what the product will look like in the most commonly used rooms.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
3d room model with stationary items. Everything in the room can be moved and this will be editable .psd file where we can edit in Photoshop. The main focus will be on the flooring and everything else in the room will be able to be hidden or moved depending on the type of room. The model needs to be realistic to the point that customers feel as though they are looking at a real room. We will then take our flooring product images and using Photoshop advanced features create a tiled flooring effect. The flooring is the only element that we will upload our own images. All of the other elements such as wall, base molding, lighting, chairs, couches, tables, countertops, windows, etc. will all be layered. We would like to have the capability to create a 3d mockup room view for every major room in the house. Kitchen, Home Office, Nursery/Baby Room, Master Bedroom, Bathroom, Laundry Room, Kids/Toy Room, Living Room, Entertainment Room, Dining Room, Hallway, Study, Garage.
The file needs to be editable using Photoshop or similar program. We
do have Adobe Illustrator but are more familiar with Photoshop. I have
a attached a file from Graphic River that does almost exactly what we
need by creating a flooring layer through Photoshop advanced settings.
We understand how to turn a flat product image and add it to this
mockup so the flooring appears to have a realistic perspective. The
only thing missing from this mockup is the actual room itself. It is
just a faded flooring model and not an entire 3d room view focused on
the flooring. If the time to create multiple rooms is time consuming I
would prefer that we create 2 rooms. One will be a home office bedroom
converted to office and the other a corporate office setting in a
commercial building. Both should focus on the flooring and not the
