We sell national brand mattresses and mattress protectors through high school fundraisers. We carry Simmons and Serta mattress Brands that are universally recognized by our female customers. It is a one day sale only, 7 hours. We put out yard signs, send out a flyer and hand out flyers about 60 days in advance of the event day. we then bring in all the mattresses (25), the morning of the event, and set them up. The sale runs on a Saturday, only between the hours of 10 am-5 pm. All product is ordered at the event, then shipped to house a week later. We tear down the event at 5 pm and go back to warehouse. All the same day.
If we are raising funds for a Marching Band for instance, then we are marketing to the parents of band members, their families and friends. Also, our product is aimed almost 95% to the woman aged 30-64 yrs. People usually have 3 mattresses per household and 11% of population buy every year at any given time.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We have been limping along with a "home" created coupon-flyer. I would love to have this information laid out be professional creative so that it is more productive. You can use all the information and lay it out how you see fit. If you think some information can be "taken out", that is fine too. NOTE: We are thinking of giving every customer who simply VISITS the event, a FREE GIFT. Something female oriented like a free 60 minute massage, or Bath & Body Works candle, etc... It would be nice to see that incorporated...

we have about 30 events a year and need to change the name of the school, date, where the sale is located, time of sale, etc. Anything related to each school would be changed to the next school. The rest of the information stays the same.
