We sell eco-friendly, sustainable bath pillows made of cork. This is the first-ever pillow of this kind in a world where plastic and vinyl have historically reigned as queen! Cork is an amazing natural resource! It is organic, non-toxic, waterproof and antimicrobial. Relaxing in a hot bath with a plastic bath pillow made with harmful chemicals like phthalates (used to make soft plastics) is not good for you! Back Let’s get started! Step 1: Decide on placement of bath pillow. The top of the pillow should fit just below your head, on the back of your neck and shoulders, while lying in the tub. Step 2: Clean the area before securing suction cups to surface. Suction cups will hold to the majority of bath surfaces. However, there are some surfaces that will not adhere, such as uneven or textured surfaces. Step 3: Line up pillow evenly and push to secure suction cups to the surface. If you need to adjust the pillow, remove it carefully using the tip of your nail to separate the suction cups from the surface. Do not remove by pulling the cushion from the front as it could rip the suction cups or surrounding material. Step 4: After use, remove the bath pillow carefully using the tip of your nail to separate the suction cups from the surface. Hang up to air dry and release any water that accumulated inside the pillow. Cleaning & Care: Cork is naturally waterproof and anti-microbial which helps keep germs away even without cleaning. However, you can use a gentle soap and a damp cloth to clean your pillow after a few uses. Mild bath bombs and other colored bath products should not stain the cork. If you do notice a stain, clean the area with soap and water as soon as you can so the stain does not set in. Baby wipes are also a good cleaning option on cork. Do not put your pillow in the wash machine. Cork is a 100% natural product and you can expect it to change and age overtime. Our cork is durable so you shouldn’t notice any cracking or peeling. Instead, your cork pillow may slightly change color over time. The colors can become lighter in certain areas, especially high use areas. You may also notice spots (usually small black or orange spots) that may show through the white cork. This is not mold, this is the natural cork color coming through the material which is a natural side effect.
