We are an online marketplace that helps students find teachers for private lessons in music, languages, tutoring, and more. Target audiences are parents seeking private lessons for their kids, and people who want to take lessons for themselves.
What's your vision?
BACKGROUND: I need a beautiful, artistic, conceptual background for a poster for internal branding/strategy (it will be a 22x28 poster, but the design element should take up about a third or half of it). This design element should imply 3 concepts, not too obviously or literally, I'd like them more abstract. The 3 concepts are music, languages, and mathematics. DESIGN DIRECTION (see sketch – I know it’s horrible but it gives you a general idea): My concept is to use a symbol to represent each thing. -For music, use a musical note or notes -For language, use a group of words like “bonjour” “hola” and “hello” -For math, use numbers, square roots, or other advanced math symbols The symbols should be treated in an abstract, beautiful way – I want people to recognize what they are, but not too obviously, and they should be pretty to look at. They could be emerging from the center or heading into the distance. Some specific ideas are to let them be elegantly distorted and formed by a colorful smoke/mist; or make them reversed out in that smoke/mist/or show them in an abstract colorful way. Again, I don’t want them TOO obvious or “in your face”; I want them subtle and artistic, but recognizable. FYI, the poster will probably have a blue background, but not married to that.
IN the image below with the music notes, it's close to my idea, but I want it simpler and cleaner and less "glittery." Each element (math, language, music) should be equally represented in the design, but very simple and not too busy. Each symbol could be distorted as if it were part of the smoke.
