Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are two startup professionals launching a podcast called Hacking Finance. As Finance leaders, we have a fundamental belief that first-time founders and CEOs don't fully appreciate the value that a strong Finance leader can bring. We will be interviewing other, seasoned Finance leaders and CEOs to extract that the core knowledge (ie "hack" it) of how to get the most out of this function so that listeners (startup founders and CEOs) can get the most from their Finance function.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for an album cover to represent our podcast. It should incorporate podcast album best practices in its design ie simplicity, catchy, etc. We want something that connects with themes of hacking, computers, technology and finance. The audience for our podcast is startup founders but the topic is the Finance function. Designs that do a good job of bridging the a technology theme and a currency / finance theme will be favored over others.
I've shared an image that we've found and like, at a basic and thematic level. Although its probably too busy, the code wall in a neon green from The Matrix has resonated with is as a visual concept to represent hacking and technology. It does not address a Finance element. Also because of the nefarious connotation of a hooded hacker, this visual is not the most resonant for us.
