Rustyofseattle got their new product label by running a design contest:
Clean & Modern Product Label for Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil

What's your vision?
I need a label for our first product, our Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil. I really like "bold and clean", because the product is mainly going to be sold online. People now do a lot of ordering and research on their tablets and phones, so the front part of the label needs to make it obvious that the product is Extra Virgin Organic...since that is a big plus with coconut oil. Here is the company site that we are currently having built. http://limitlessorganics.com/ The new logo is at the top, and the colors we are going to use will be various shades of green and grey. I'll attach a file with the logo in various formats. This product is also going to be listed in Amazon, and I want the label to stick out among the competing products. Here is an Amazon link to the coconut oil listings. http://tinyurl.com/amazon-coconut-listings The jar is a glass 30 ounce jar similar to a mayonnaise jar. Here's a link to a similar jar. http://www.naturesapproved.com/shop/larger_view.asp?storeid=DED66C93AF6E45488DF43C733A64B7F1&productID=1362077&bPrivateProduct=1 So really, I'm after a Green and grey label that has more of a 2013 Web 2.0 feel...than the typical health food labels I see. I attached a few designs I like, but this is just an idea...I hope someone with great taste will make a striking design. This is the first of many future projects, so hoping to work one on one with the winning designer in the future. I've also attached a pdf document of the copy that needs to be on the label, supplement facts, etc. Note: Ordering the UPC bar code, but don't have yet. I will provide that as soon as it arrives...so just put up a false bar code for now.
Feel free to change the shade of green on our logo to work with any green shades you choose on the label. I don't want anyone to feel limited by color choices. Not sure is this is possible...but would also love it if I could get a graphic of the entire jar of coconut oil with the label on it. Would love to have a nice looking bottle image to put on our site, Amazon, etc. I've found that taking a picture of the bottle never looks as crisp as someone who makes the graphic with photoshop.
