info dWr got their new product label by running a design contest:
Create a logo & label design for e-juice flavoring by Oakwood Vapor
Check out info dWr's Product label contest…
Food & Drink
Oakwood Vapor is a manufacturer and retailer of boutique juices for the electronic cigarette market. We are looking to stand apart from the multitudes of cookie-cutter DIY operations. We would like labeling & logo to appeal to a mostly upscale demographic and which conveys an aura of luxury, modernity, and exclusivity.
What's your vision?
We require a design for a label including logo measuring 3 inches wide by 1.5 inches high. The label will be wrapped around both 15ml and 30ml glass bottles, so the frontally visible area on the front of the label is a bit over an inch. Do feel free to Google Image Search "e liquid labels" to see what's out there already, then design something that stands apart! Most similar labels include name and logo of the company, the name of the flavor and a fine-print health disclaimer. We can add the disclaimer later, don't worry about it as part of the design. Remember we would like labeling & logo to appeal to a mostly upscale demographic and which conveys an aura of luxury, modernity, and exclusivity.
We would prefer a more organic and less "computery" look.

xPAz is a creative designer to work with. I appreciate him not just submitting a logo example but for creating a vision for my brand by including how it would look on my packaging and also my website. It really helped me see how this logo was the right choice for the future of my brand.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
