We are an artisan distiller producing premium quality gin and vodka in small batches from our micro-distillery in Hampshire, England. We hand craft our products in an old-fashioned way but want our brand to break with tradition by being modern and funky. Rather than traditional eastern European sounding vodka names and high-brow middle class English gin names our business is called the Gorilla Spirits Co. and our products are Gorilla Vodka and Silverback Gin. Our target market is discerning drinkers, typically 28-55 year olds who are keen to avoid the major brands and who are willing to pay a premium to enjoy a hand-crafted product.
What's your vision?
We are looking for label designs for both our products as they must be identifiable as being made by the same producer and deliver a consistent brand image. We have no pre-conceptions as to what the labels should contain and they don’t necessarily need to feature an image of a gorilla however as well as being striking, modern and funky they must convey the image of a high quality, premium beverage. We may choose to apply traditional labels to our products or we may choose to print directly to glass. If the latter option then the design should consist of no more than 3 colours.

We absolutely love the design that qsketch2 created for Eve & Murray's. They were one of the earliest contest entrants, and brought several new and different ideas to the table. Once they hit on the design style that we loved, they were super fast and accurate with tweaks to get it just right. We had over 90 designs submitted, but many of them were copy cats and showed little creativity. Qsketch2 was an original, was the only one that really captured the irreverence and humor we put in the brief, and gave us something truly different and special. Thank you!
