Description of the product
This is a historic Italian brand that has been sold in the US for over 15 years. The varietal that we want to be redesigned is the Montepulciano.
Description of the product target audience
This is largely sold in urban markets and likely sold to 29-49 college educated consumers 60% male.
We like the style of the current label, but we think with some moderate tweaks we can make it better. One of our big concerns is the font is just too difficult for the average consumer to read. We like the script style but need the brand name to be more easily read. We also want to keep the image somewhat similar to what it is, but we are certainly open to see tweaks and adjustments in the image. We are open to looking at adding some color, foils and die cuts. We do not want a radical design but simply an improvement to where we are today.
What to avoid
We are open to designs but do not want anything to crazy. It needs to be elegant.
We are open to different sizes and shapes.
