Other color requirements
Our logo has yellow for the rice grain and and green leaf to invoke thoughts of natural product. We have not chosen a full colour scheme yet so are open to ideas on colour for packaging. Want to keep it to two or three colours so it's not loud.
Description of the product
Savoury puffed rice snacks that are all-natural, vegan and gluten free. They look and taste very much like bacon puffs (pork rinds). We use a brand new base ingredient from Japan that is made from non-GMO, small scale farmed rice. We use only the rice product, oil and spices. We make the snacks in Vancouver, Canada. There is nothing else like it on the market. Facon Puffs is a quirky name. We like simplicity but would be happy with a more playful presentation.
Description of the product target audience
Snackers looking for a delicious salty treat that is non-allergenic, gluten free, vegan. Yes, they are vegan snacks but omnivores like them too!
We need a paper label to wrap around a clear plastic bag. We would like something simple and eye catching to highlight the product.
What to avoid
We will likely be competing with potato chips but we don't want busy packaging. We prefer the look of Japanese rice snack packaging which is simple and showcases the product.
The paper wrap around label we need is 14"w x 3.5"h. (The clear bag it wraps around is 6"w x 8"h)
It all began with a design brief.
