Food & Drink
We manufacture a range of premium deli salads, Hummus and dips to a large UK retail audience.
What's your vision?
We are looking to redesign the current labels on our salad pots. We are looking for a modern, vibrant, healthy, premium design for our labels. This will be a generic label that will be used on our complete range. Please bear in mind that our deli pots will be among many other brands on the shelf and therefore the design must be appealing / stand out. I've attached images of designs that we like - to give you an idea of the style we are looking for. The top (round) section of the label will go along the back side of the pot and must contain the following: 1. Please allow a 2cm high gap that is as wide as the label for us to print the salad ingredients in black. 2. Please allow a 3cm x 2cm space for us to print the barcode in black in the far top square section. 3. Please include the following small text "Royale Cuisine, Unit 6, London, N17 9QU" "Tel - 020 8808 3316", "May contain traces of nuts" 4. The following text in very small but visible circle - UK, YH206, EEC. The middle (square) section of the label will be placed on top of the salad pot and must include the following: 1. The Royale Cuisine Logo (attached) - feel free to edit the colors or create a simple redesign. The tag line - "Deliciously Fresh" must be included and "All Natural" 2. Please leave ample space for us to print the Salad Name in black. 3. Please leave a space to add a use by date in black and include the following text underneath "Keep chilled (0-4°) - consume within 3 days" The bottom (round) section of the label will go along the front side of the pot and this is what consumers will see when they look at the shelf - design will be quite important here - here are the specs we require: 1. Company logo must be present here and visible. 2. A gap that is approx 1.5cm high and as wide as the label for us to print the salad name on. 3. The text - "New & Improved Recipe" 4. The licensing logo's must be visible at the bottom - licences are attached (these can be in any color) You can find the blank digital cutter file/template attached here, and a photo of how it looks on the deli pot. I've attached a few photos of how the shape of the label looks on the salad pot - please not we do not like this design and it is just to show how it looks on the salad pot!
We would love to see labels on our salad and deli pots that are sophisticated but modern and forward thinking, illustrate the premium and fresh nature of our products and at the same time promote a vibrant and healthy image. Above all the label must be attractive and the label must stand out on the shelf. Our consumer focus groups have all indicated that customers who taste our range are left in no doubt of the quality and the superior taste of the product - the challenge is to convey the message from the label on the container in the refrigerated section of a retail store that they will have this experience once they buy the product and take it home to try. We use all natural ingredients, and our products taste fantastic! If you could please create a mock label using our "Red Pepper & Jalapeno Hummus" as the salad name. We're looking forward to seeing your entries!
