nb j got their new product label by running a design contest:
Joint Genius needs a sleeve design

Food & Drink
Description of the product
This is a supplement for Joints, Memory and Digestion.
Description of the product target audience
People over 40 will use this product the most. It is for men and women.
1. This will need to be designed as a sleeve. 2. We want a picture of a brain over the entire top of the bottle and cap and a skeleton attached that goes down the rest of the bottle. 3. We want the Joints highlighted on the skeleton. 4. Focus more on the Joints and Memory because the digestion is just an added benefit. Look at the attached label and put all the info we have on the front of our label on the front of your design and the same for the back. 5. I will give you feedback along the way to steer you in the right direction.
What to avoid
I can't think of anything to avoid. I can't make the contest blind because I need a panel of people to judge the designs. When it is blind contest, I can't send the link to others.
I've attached a picture of the bottle and a sample label that you can use to create a sleeve.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their product label.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
nb j collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
The Gateway Farm
We needed a new label for our maple syrup. From beginning to end Filip was right on top of the design, any changes we asked for, and extremely good at communicating. We loved his style and would highly recommend working with him!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
