What's your vision?
Looking for a classic style wine label design. Needs to have a classical feel similar to French Bordeaux or Burgundy wines but still have a modern feel. Wines will retail in the $50+ category and will use a heavy textured paper. Front and back label required. Script and mandatory back label information attached. First word Ironstone will be in same lettering as logo on front label. Australian mandatory label requirements attached. Lot number not required on front label.
A mock-up is attached that carries the relevant information that needs to be contained in the label. This is a guide only but along the lines of what we are looking for. I have also attached images of other labels we like the look of. The successful design will be elegant and distinguished without being old fashion. It will pay particular attention to font and letter spacing to give a stylish appearance. We like the look of the signature of the winemaker as seen in the Romanee' label. Our business card for another part of the business has a broad black stripes (see attached image). We would like to carry this design element along the top of the label but in silver. Once silver is introduced it can be used to highlight other lettering and motifs. We would like to introduce a watermark or motif using the letters IWBV (Ironstone Wines Barossa Valley) in scrolled lettering - possibly light silver. Bottles will be numbered from 1 to 800 so design will need to allow for this in the layout.
