The Little Pancake Company needs some delicious new packaging designs

Food & Drink
We're a small company with a BIG passion for pancakes. We sell dry pancake batter mixes in delicious flavours. Whilst most pancake mixes on the supermarket shelves are just a bag of flour, ours make fluffy American pancakes with proper ingredients like real raspberries, indulgent chocolate chips and zingy ginger pieces. Our audience tends to be mums with young kids who are looking for weekend or school holiday inspiration; or young couples wanting something special for Sunday brunch but they just don't have time at the end of the work day to battle with the supermarket to buy ingredients to make something.
What's your vision?
We need new labels for our delicious pancake mixes to make them look as professional as they taste! We use high quality ingredients and dream up tasty flavour combinations but our amateurish packaging design lets us down big time! We need a range of front packaging labels for our dry pancake batter mixes which are sold in flat-bottomed kraft pouches (the pouches are 140 * 210 * 35mm in size). Our current labels are printed on standard A4 label paper - 4 to a page. We need labels for the 10 flavours in our range - we are looking for one design with clear customisation for each variant. The variants are below with a guide of the ingredients they contain in brackets. 1. Raspberry and white chocolate 2. Apple crumble and cinnamon 3. Zingy ginger (crystallised ginger pieces, ginger powder and ginger biscuits) - this one is pretty hot! 4. Triple chocolate (milk, white and dark chocolate chips) 5. Rocky road (milk chocolate, biscuit pieces and marshmallows) 6. Cherry Bakewell (cherries, shortbread, flaked almonds) 7. Choconutty (milk chocolate pieces and peanuts) 8. Jelly beanie (jelly beans) 9. Birthday surprise (coloured sprinkles and popping candy) 10. Parmesan and porcini mushroom We are looking for a method of variant differentiation - there is freedom to be creative and I don't mind whether this is through colours, ingredient imaging, coloured bands etc Whilst we currently only sell online and at craft fairs, we are in the process of expanding to farm shops and small retail outlets. I want packaging that will help showcase how fun and original our brand is, and how delicious and unique our pancake mixes are. We already have a logo which incorporates a whisk - we want to bring out the whisk character on pack. In order to do this, I am happy to separate the text of the logo from the whisk image itself. We're keen on colour to achieve shelf standout (brand colours are pinks and white). We also like patterns (particularly spots and stars). However, we are aware that we often over complicate our packaging so are interested in more simple designs that still convey our fun and playful brand.
To find out more about our brand, I have attached a brand overview PDF document - this would be a great place to start. You could also take a look at our website, Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest pages. There is also a photo of the ingredients that go in to our pancake mixes (please note, this shows the ingredients in the pancake batter once milk and egg have been added by the end user, the pancake batters are sold dry). Also attached is a photo of a current pack, a photo showing what the consumer receives when they order from us, a sketch that a family member drew which sums up how we feel about pancakes!, and our current label design. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions! Can't wait to see the designs that come back.
