Description of the product
Katy Keto is new brand launching January '20 (the founders previously launched www.drinksoma.com and www.besynchro.com). Our first product is called KetoFast. It's an all-natural matcha latte drink mix designed to make “intermittent fasting” easier, i.e. only eating during a 6-8 window in the afternoon. IM or intermittent fasting is a scientifically proven strategy to accelerate weight loss, but it can be hard to stick with it. We designed KetoFast to make this process much easier. KetoFast arrives as a powder and is combined with water or a creamy beverage, and can be served hot, iced, or room temperature.
Description of the product target audience
Our customers are primarily women 18 years and older. Our goal is to appeal to women of all ages, but embody a youthful / millennial aesthetic. Our customers have tried different diets and weight loss strategies and are looking for something easier.
As a brand, Katy Keto is about making weight loss fun and easy. The company will be based in Miami, and the brand hopes to draw much visual inspiration from the vibrant arts focused city, especially the Wynwood Street Art & the Art Deco architectural style. In short – the visual brand should feel fun. Currently, there is no final company brand or wordmark, so the brand is wide open for a designer to interpret. The label design should be able to scale to multiple flavors (this first label is for a Matcha flavor, but future flavors may include coffee, chocolate, chai, etc.). The label will be printed on a matte label and wrapped around the entire body of the canister. The design should be fun but still sexy. We definitely don’t want to visually overwhelm and always want the product name to be easy to read. Below is the copy for the label (also see attached diagram): the designer can be creative in how the elements are ordered and sized. The visual design should fully wrap and cohere the front and back. Text Front of Canister: Company name: “Katy Keto” Product Name: “KetoFast”: We’re interested to see variations of the product name written as KetoFast on one line, as well as “Keto” and “Fast” broken out on two lines. The “K” and “F” should always be capitalized. “Matcha” denoting the flavor. And the text “Delicious Keto-Friendly Latte Mix” Icons and text should also denote the following: “Keto Friendly” “Gluten-Free” “Dairy Free” “All-Natural” And the following copy must be a minimum of 11 point font. "NET WT 7.4 OZ. (210g)". Copy on back: (Nutritional Label): final label in process “Ingredients: Ingredients: Coconut Milk Powder, MCT Oil Powder, Matcha, Stevia, L-Theanine, All-Natural Vanilla Flavor, Sea Salt” “SUGGESTED USE: As a breakfast alternative or tasty snack, mix one heaping scoop of KetoFast Matcha Latte with 8 to 10 ounces of water or your favorite creamy beverage. Enjoy KetoFast hot or cold or iced.” “FIND US ONLINE: firstname.lastname@example.org #katyketo” “Manufactured for: Katy Keto LLC Miami, FL” [Bar Code]
Label design is for a tall plastic powder canister with white body and black cap: (similar to this product but with white body: https://shop.perfectketo.com/products/powdered-mct-oil-from-coconuts-for-keto-and-ketosis). The label is 11cm tall, and the diameter of the cannister is 9cm, making the width of the entire label 28.26 cm.
