Papa Fuego got their new product label by running a design contest:
Spicy Shot needs a dark Label

Food & Drink
Description of the product
We're four students from Brunswick, Germany. We love to drink "Mexikaner". It's a Shot known from the "Hamburger Kiez". While any other shot is sweet or pure hard liquor, mexikaner convinces because it's tomato, chili and finest herbs. In Germany you will find Mexikaner in Bars and Pubs but there is a gap in the supermarkets. So we decide to close this gap an create our own "Mexikaner", called Papa Fuego.
Description of the product target audience
In our experience our user are mainly between 18 and 40. I guess 70% are male and 30% female. Mexikaner is not a luxurious drink. It's knows from some "dirty and dark pubs" so our price is affordable for most people.
There should be a clear structure and the user should realize "Mexikaner" first, Papa Fuego second, and other information later. In the future there will be another version, witch ist more spicy(hot). So we need a scale or a cool title for the medium version. Because Mexikaner is red there would be a good contrast if the label is dark. May some borders could stamp with copper. Also we prefer a casual guy at the front label(A person to identify). The Tomato in our actual design can be leaved. font-family is Segeo UI.
What to avoid
We don't like flames and skulls on our label ;)
