Food & Drink
Last year our small company launched a line of all-natural, low-calorie, non-alcoholic craft cocktail mixes. We currently have three flavors available: Lavender & Vanilla, Ginger & Jalapeno, and Hibiscus & Mint. We have a fourth flavor being released next month. Our target audience is cocktail savvy individuals that also are culinary enthusiasts. Our product is handmade, but our goal is a sophisticated, upscale and elegant label with a touch of a contemporary feel. Think of a product that is on the shelves at Williams-Sonoma or Sur La Table- we want our product to look like it fits right in.
What's your vision?
We need our current labels updated to include our newest flavor, Bison Grass. We also want an "upgrade" of our current labels, as we have pending national accounts and we want to make sure our packaging and brand identity are top-notch. We prefer to have our existing emblems on the front of the labels worked into the new labels, and it is important that our brand is still immediately recognizable to those that are already purchasing our products. PLEASE NOTE: **You are welcome to create your own version of the existing emblems, or even create a new concept altogether, if it is able to keep our brand and product immediately recognizable to our past customers.** We have had a lot of compliments on the emblems on the labels and we love their classic look, which is why we prefer to use them on the new labels. But we are open to creative input. We also would like our new labels in an assymetrical shape (see attachments), to make the appearance more striking, but also to prevent the puckering that occurs on these Hock-shaped bottles. We would like to keep the separate front label and back label. I am happy to reduce the copy that is currently on the labels to maximize space. This is a food/beverage product, so will need to be FDA compliant. PLEASE NOTE: if you have a different shape in the mind that would eliminate the issue of label puckering, feel free to submit it! The assymetrical label was just one of the solutions that would work for this bottle shape. We also would like to make sure the flavor name is more prominent on the new labels. I love the Scriptina font that is on the current labels, but it is hard to read on the shelf and behind the bar. CONTENT OF LABELS: FRONT: Logo with tagline Flavor Name (Currently the flavor is in Scriptina font. We love this font, but we are open to a similar or complementary font type) Emblem (taken from existing logos, new emblem to be created to match others for bison grass flavor. See attachment of current labels for emblems. Low-Calorie Craft Cocktail Infusion (Keep in mind this is a change, our current labels say "Cocktail Mix") Weight: NET WEIGHT: 12.7 FL OZ (375 ml) BACK OF LABEL: (Martini glass emblem) Short blurb (as shown on current labels, this can be modified to be shorter as needed) Example recipe (as shown on current recipes) Nutritional Content Ingredient List Manufactured by address NOTE: We will be moving into a new kitchen, as well as slightly updating our recipes. Therefore, the address will be different on the new labels, and there are a couple small nutritional changes that will need to be applied once the winning designer is completing the new labels. ATTACHMENTS: *Example of desired label shape (applied to bottle) *Example of desired label shape (drawn to size on paper) *Photos of our current packaging *Files of our current labels *File containing the three emblems that are to be used (these are a previous design of the labels, but the emblems are the same) If you need any other files to help with your design submissions please let me know!
