Description of the product
Good beer is meant to be fun. That’s why we brew premium quality all-natural craft beers, created for those who do things their way. Naughty Otter is for those select few who believe that in life, good beers and great times never end.
Description of the product target audience
Target Audience: Primary: Young, millenial drinkers, equal split between female and male This segment represents 11% of drinkers and 15% of volume This segment is 49 % male and 51% female 97 % of this segment is between 18 and 34 with median age being 25 60 % of this segment is single Main consumer alcohol product in this segment are beer (1), wine (2) and RTD (3) High percentage of this demographics disposable income is spent on socializing Main drinking occasions are pre drinking for a bar/club or day drinking on a patio during the summers This segments drinks a lot frequently Mid income Male Beer Drinkers The segment represents 16% of drinkers and 17% volume in the Canadian alcohol market. These guys get together for a couple beers after their adult men’s league game on Tuesday night but go home for 10 pm These guys play poker and have a couple drinks bi weekly Median age 49 years old Beer is main product consumed with whiskey being second and wine being third Main occasions drinking are relaxing with a significant other, escaping and unwinding and hanging with close friends (watching a sports game ect) This consumer is finally open to drinking craft beer as long as the liquid is highly approachable. The males of this demographic will drink this because the liquid is easy but the brand is craft so they feel cool drinking this while socializing. Also, it’s the flavor is nice balance for a night out when the other drinks are often stiff mixed drinks or shots. Females of this segment will then start drinking Naughty Otter because they like the can can connect with the Otter. Females will keep drinking it because it’s a craft beer that they can actually drink.
Please see decks for description on design. Generally speaking, we want something minimalistic and timeless that is more modern than our current dated design (attached). We are changing from being a beer company to more of a lifestyle brand, and want the can to reflect something that people would feel good holding. It's key for it to stand out on shelves and be something that draws attention. Can description should note space for: Logo Ingredients ABV Slogan Barcode Address Beer name Scholarship (possibly removed) See current can design (attached) for amount of spacing needed. We would like to represent that it is Canadian, craft, and make the otter the focal point.
What to avoid
Please do not include the Gananoque logo (we are moving away from that for our brand).
