Description of the product
PB BAR is an all natural peanut butter protein bar. It's gluten-free, vegan, and paleo, with 15g of protein. It's the healthy protein bar for the peanut butter obsessed.
Description of the product target audience
The bar is meant as a "daily driver" for those who love peanut butter and who are health-conscious. Grab it for breakfast, after a workout, during a hike, or wherever. Throw it in your bag or backpack and always have a PB BAR handy for a healthy, peanut buttery treat.
We want to design the label for the protein bar. We are looking for something modern, clean, simple, and bold. Nothing too cheesy or childish. You can leave the back of the label just as a solid color (we will add in the nutrition panel and ingredients list ourselves), so we are really looking for a great front design. The front of the bar should definitely say PB BAR as that is the name of the brand. It should also include "All natural peanut butter protein bar" and the fact that there are 15g of protein. The positioning of the bar is "For the peanut butter obsessed", so perhaps this is the visually strongest element on the front of the bar. But it doesn't necessary need to be. PB BAR can be strong. Etc. We trust your creativity. We don't have a logo for PB BAR, and don't need an icon. Just the name of the bar (PB BAR) in a modern and bold font should be good (or whatever font you think is suitable for the project). We were thinking that the background color of the bar could be yellow, and the secondary color could be a peanut butter color. Although, we are open to any colors (although including a peanut butter color in some capacity is probably ideal). Ultimately, we want to create a protein bar that stands out from the other bars, while keeping the package clean and simple. We don't want any photographs on the label. Perhaps, only color blocks and type. Perhaps, some graphics. But, if there are graphics, they should likely be flat and simple. The instinct might be to go for a peanut graphic, we are open to this, but it is certainly not necessary. If you do choose to try this, ensure that it's simple, clean, and not too cartoonish. Ultimately, we trust your creative judgment and look forward to your interpretations. The front of the bar should also include NET WT. 2.21 OZ (59g). You can design the bar to be viewed horizontally, vertically, or a half and half (if it looks good). Whatever you're inspired by. You do not need to design it to look like a "traditional" protein bar. In fact, we are looking for something that doesn't succumb to the same basic package design cliches. We like the simplicity of the rxbar for example (https://www.rxbar.com/), although we don't want to copy this. We want our own style. But notice how their packaging seems to be designed more like a minimal user interface, than a traditional food package. We like this look. Of course, we are open to other things.
