Eat to Life Inc.
Description of the product
Eat to Life is an ambitious new entrant to the healthy snack market that creates all natural, authentic, tasty and healthy snacks and food products for people that care about eating REAL food - Food that is packaged to deliver a healthy snack conveniently, NOT packaged because it’s processed. We looked at the “healthy snack bar” market and realized 2 things: 1) There are bars that are healthy and taste like sawdust. 2) There are bars that taste great and are not healthy. They are basically candy bars. We decided we would create a plant based protein bar that would taste great and, be healthy…….very healthy. It was that simple. Creating the bar……..not so simple. Our nutritious, delicious line-up of bars is our first line-up of products - look out for more flavours and many other innovative products to follow soon.
Description of the product target audience
Our products are all low sugar, have no sugar alcohols, no artificial flavours, no colourants, no preservatives etc. Our customers are people that are interested in making generally healthy snack choices or happen to have special dietary needs (nut free, school safe, gluten free, vegan, low sugar, have natural protein sources and are kosher). They are enjoyed and endorsed by: Parents Kids Athletes Teachers Dietitians Nutritionists Personal Trainers Many others...essentially anybody who seeks truly healthy (AND delicious) snacks. Too many products on the market claim to be healthy, natural or “guilt free” choices, however fall short when you take a closer look at the ingredient list or nutritional table. Of those few that do qualify as natural and healthy, they typically don’t taste great. We’re taking a leadership role in the category: to provide healthy snacks by - anyone's standard - that taste great too. Think & Eat Differently - Eat to Life!
We would like a wrapper designed that is hip and eye catchy, yet somewhat basic and understated (see attached supplied addition example of packaging we like). We would like our logo, bar name, weight, our tag line "Think/Eat Differently" and call outs with the numbers on the front of the wrapper. Our call outs are protien (12g), fiber (8g), sugar (6g) and calories (190). On the sides we would like to see icons (school safe, gluten free, zero allergens, made in a nut free facility, Vegan, Made in Canada, GMO free, Kosher). On the back of the wrapper will be ingredients, nutritionals panel, company address, website, and bar code. The wrapper will have to be bilingual (english and french) as we are in Canada. the base "template" for the wrapper look and feel should be consistent across the various flavours, however each flavour should be easily distinguishable by its own primary flavour colour. Flavours as follows: - Strawberry - Chocolate Orange - Lemon - Coconut - Apple Cinnamon Ideally, the design would incorporate two to 1-2 PMS colours + Black(or grey) for the ingredients, barcode etc. + white if desired. The wrappers will be printed on a metalized foil film. The metalized film can be used in the design or covered completely. *We will need display boxes and other packaging designed once we've settled on a final wrapper design. We hope to work 1 on 1 with the wining designer to create/develop our other packaging requirements.
