Food & Drink
We are Black Dragon coffee and we sell coffee capsules to grocery stores, markets, coffee shops and just about anywhere that sells coffee capsules. Coffee capsules = kcups for Keurig machines.
What's your vision?
We need a packaging design for our new line of coffee capsules. The brand is Black Dragon coffee. Box size is 7.5" x 4.25" x 5". Our company colors are black and red and we would like to use a black box with white text and red as a color to highlight specific information. We want a box with depth so not just a plain black box with a logo, maybe the logo as a watermark or some crazy design as a watermark or anything other than plain black. Here are some general directions for what we would like on the box and how it should be laid out. Front Panel (7.5"w x 5"h) Large Logo Spot for label (we will use a generic box and use labels to identify each blend of coffee) Box count - 18 single serve cups Net Weight 198 g (6.98oz) Picture of capsules - generic capsule This is the panel that will be facing the customer when it is placed on the shelf. It's the most important. We want it to be clean and simple. Logo and basic information with a spot for a label that is 2.5"w x 4"h. The label will identify each blend of coffee. Side Panel #1 (4.25"w x 5"h) Company information in both languages - copy to be provided later use generic text for design Side Panel #2 (4.25"w x 5"h) Information about the coffee in both languages - copy to provided later use generic text for design Back Panel (5"w x 7.5") Same as front panel but changed orientation by 90 degrees. This allows for two possible arrangements on the retail shelf. Bottom Panel (4.25"w x 7.5"h) Generic Text / Barcode area Top Panel (7" w x 4.25"h) Large Logo Please be creative with this part of the box.
Be creative, have fun, don't be too serious with the brand - we want to create a brand/package that captures people's attention. KEEP IT SIMPLE - we do not want a packaging design that is overwhelming to customer because there is so much information. We would like to see a design with a dragon wrapped around the box as a watermark - we're not sure if this is possible but it would be really cool to see! Preference will be given to designers with packaging experience as files must be uploaded by designer to printing companies FTP site. For examples of coffee packaging please Google "KCUP packaging"
