Pure Earth Salt
Kalahari Desert Salt
Description of the product
Kalahari Desert Salt; as pure and natural as nature intended. The perfect culinary salt. No microplastics, no preservatives/additives. The salt is 300 million years old, harvested in South Africa by the first and original Kalahari salt producer in the world. Sun-dried. No mining.
Description of the product target audience
The home chef who doesn't just go for the cheapest option, who likes products with a story. They like their products pure, natural, and made with love. People who shop for organic food and go to the specialty / higher end supermarkets. People for who cooking food is not just a necessity but a soulful outlet/experience. Please read the vision of our company in the attached document to get a better feel for our marketing vision!
We need a design for 16oz stand up pouches for (super)market shelves. We want to create an identity that has a balance of elegant, luxury and organic down to earth. Something that stands out on the shelf. Something that exoticly asks for attention. People buy an experience, not a product. The design needs to transmit that this is the purest salt in the world (and no microplastics like >90% of the salts!) and get people keen to get in their kitchen. Aside from this packaging, we also sell little ceramic salt containers (see attached picture) for people to buy along with our salt, which also has a bit more of a warm, luxurious feel than regular glass jar salt containers. We'd like the packaging design to match this feel, but more vibrant, colorful.
What to avoid
No use of stock images please. Please no cactus in the design as they don't grow in the Kalahari desert. Attached you see one craft pouch with some oriental details which we like, and the other craft pouches we like the simplicity of the design. Just as example. However, we don't want craft pouches. We'd like the color of the picture of the cavepainting to come back in the design.
