Description of the product target audience
Age - 25-60
Hound Hammock is the name of the product, id like it to stand out on the package preferably more than the logo. Im happy for it to state "Hound Hammock" followed with "by (insert logo)" with the logo placed underneath the product name, or im happy for the logo to be elsewhere on the package. I want the product name Hound Hammock to be in a font that really captivates the feel of the brand and the rest of the package design, it will be an important attribute. Because the package will be clear/frosted ziplock, it would be fun to have illustrations included over the packaging if that suits the rest of the design and doesnt make it feel too cluttered. It is the only packaging for the product and needs to make a great first impression to stick out from the rest of the crowd. Information to include on front of packaging: - Logo - Product name - Tagline #1 Information that HAS TO BE included on the back of the package: - Suffocation warning "Warning: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this plastic bag away from babies and children. Do not use this bag in cribs, beds, carriages, or playpens. This bag is not a toy." list this down the bottom of product packaging. - Made in China (in small writing underneath barcode) - Barcode (this will be provided at the end of the designing process as i need to clear some issues). - Contact details www.nativez.com email@example.com (instagram, facebook, and YouTube logo) 56 Gerrale St. Cronulla, NSW, 2230 Australia. Taglines to include on the packaging: "your dog deserves a vacation too" Front of package "hammocks aren't just for lounging" Back of package These taglines in a wavy pattern may look good, though not restricted to. The second tagline may look good taking up most of the back in bold writing, like the example image i've attached. Design theme: As it is in the pet niche im obviously wanting to appeal to the target audience first and foremost. As i mentioned if its not too cluttered id like designs/images included on the package. An idea is having palm trees as its a "hound hammock" but that could be a terrible idea! Just a thought... though it may not suit the brand. This packaging is going to be a big way of "branding" my product. I have attached images of the product, the print design that will be applied to the product (camouflage), a couple logo designs and dielines / package type. The product barcode will need to be provided in the future towards the end of the design phase. Please do ask if there is anything that needs clarification.
