non-profit organization specializing in the rescue of horses that for reasons unknown have found themselves in the dire circumstance of being on a kill lot pending shipment across the border to an inhumane and terrible death for the purpose of slaughter. We rescue these slaughter bound horses because they are out of time and usually pending shipment within hours. Most of the horses that we rescue have bright futures. We bring them into a safe and comfortable environment, give them complete veterinary care, love them and work with them for their emotional trauma and ultimately try to rehome them to a loving and forever family.
