The main idea behind the design was to emphasise the masculine power with the manly figure and in the same time the character wearing a mask will trigger the dark side and manipulation feeling of it.")

The illustration is an original piece painted by me with watercolour technique on paper and after recreated it in digital medium with Procreate and I also made a custom hand lettered title, where I applied a golden texture, mimicking the final Gold Foil texture the client requested.
In the presentation I included 3 shades for the greeting card, for different moods.")

The main character is a young girl with freckles and long, honey-colored hair. The book has a dark subject matter, but is actually pretty playful too.
The client was looking for an artistic and modern representation of the place including a feminine and abstract main character. The title needed to be a modern, trendy font more like a handwritten style.
So I went with a custom hand lettered title and an earthy moody vibe, including the main character in the foreground.
Also I included the back cover of the book, which had a matching illustration style, portraying a more detailed view of the mountains.")
