The brief was to create a wedding invitation that represents the couple's culture. I used the checkered pattern for the German groom (I guess this works also for the Scottish side), and a celtic knot (for the Scottish bride) accent/border to wrap it all up.

I tried to make things formal & somewhat modern without it being too far from the traditional wedding invitation style.
