The most important ideas about our product, and ones your logo should represent, are: Manufacturer/business-to-business seriousness Food (may be as simple as giving equal emphasis to FOOD in type treatment of name, NOT BY SHOWING ICONS OR ILLUSTRATIONS OF FOOD) Local (locally sourced). Again, this could be about a matter of weight given to the word LOCAL in the type treatment of the name, or ...? Audience is very important; we're expanding here on the original brief: The target audiences for LAF are executives (80% MALE) in large foodservice businesses who are looking for a *strong business opportunity* to serve the many consumers/diners who want high-quality whole food plant pure meat substitutes. Please show the tagline/slogan in a presentation that can separate from the logo, as its own element. You may also include a version that has the tagline built into the logo design, but you must show the tagline as separable. Please feel confident in the readability of the logo in sizes that are minimum 2x2". Your format/orientation is more horizontal/landscape, so you do not need to use the full 2" of height. Of course, we will be eventually needing high-rez versions for trade show banners where the logo may be as large as 24x24". Each finalist will receive specific instructions regarding their designs. More audience detail from the original brief. We manufacture whole food plant based meat substitutes formed, fresh or frozen for the foodservice industry. The target audiences are decision makers for multi-location foodservice operations. They will be looking for better products or guidance in differentiating opportunities to serve or expand their plant-based offering. Their titles might include: • Director of Sustainability • Executive Chef • Culinary Director • Business Development • New Product Development • Contract Procurement Specialist • Protein Purchasing Agent • CMO • CEO • COO
Other color requirements
Warm, serious, environmental colors are highlighted above. Consider using as accents in your designs.
