How lisellewalker started their t-shirt journey
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the t-shirt?
No, not really. But what I want is just a phrase - so I guess I am visualising words, put simply. That said, the final design could be just the phrase in stylised letters; or it could be incorporated into a kind of graphic / design in the background - I don't really mind. I just want it to be cool ;-) (I know that's very subjective - sorry). The people it's for, consider themselves to be quite into fashion, and like things that can be a little funky; unique pieces, with interesting detailing, for example. This doesn't have to be 'super-edgy' and weird, but just something with a cool vibe about it. Some brands I want to channel that spring to mind include G-star Raw, Converse, Burton, Superdry... The other thing to take into account is the origin of the phrase: For us, it pertains to a funny conversation that took place last Christmas, sitting around the dining table, after a few wines, and an interesting situation that was being retold (in a slightly slurred fashion). But when I was wondering how to spell it (because I don't want to pronounce the 'th'), I Google'd the phrase, and this definition appeared from Urban Dictionary: ""Something" only sexier. Almost invariably found in the phrase "...a little somethin' somethin'..." because a LOT of somethin' somethin' would be too much of a good thing." It may also be African American slang, alluding to something a little risque - which I wasn't aware of until now; but that lends an interesting consideration to the design aesthetic perhaps?
[NOTE: you can capitalise the first letter if you think it will look better, or leave it all lower case; you could have "..." after it or before it or both - I will leave that up to you]
