Steve Gapper got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Design a website for mywebclub.co.uk
Check out Steve Gapper's Web page design contest…
MyWebClub.co.uk is a new online affinity club offering a broad range of products and services including cars, holidays, financial services, hobbies and leisure, health and fitness, wine etc. We need a design for the home page of the site (the welcome page) and an internal page for one of the products e.g. holidays.
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) The site will contain significant information about the products and services, in particular about some of the financial issues that the products might help solve. Visitors will click through from our site to the providers’ sites using hypertext links either embedded in the text or in logos. We expect the site to feature special offers both on homepage and potentially an internal page) at any one time from across the product range and that the offer will change daily/weekly. Please use the logo "mywebclub.co.uk" which should be Pantone 308 colour. The typeface for the logo is Felt Tip Roman. Desired style This will be the shop window for the club so the site needs to be engaging, easy-to-use, clear and friendly. The use of typefaces, colour and navigation needs to reflect this. We think that a white background will probably work best but we’re open to suggestions. Although the decision is yet to be made the design should potentially cater for a fluid rather than fixed width layout

It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Steve Gapper collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
