Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
It allows our customers an opportunity to find our locations, gives then our terms and conditions for consignment, gives them a place to sign up for our newsletter, shows consignors examples of the quality of merchandise and furniture we sell and tells our companies story.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
This website needs to clean, crisp and elegant. We would like our site to look more like high end than the local thrift store. It should be simple and very easy to navigate.
We want a home page that is basic and easy navigate, but it must be classy and sophisticated. We want a page that describes what we do and who we are and gives our terms of business, we want a location page that allows customers to get each stores address and map and allows access to the individual store photo gallery. We would also like a page were articles about the stores can be viewed by customers. That can be a combination of all media about all the stores.
What to avoid
Clutter! moving and flashing screens, cartoon images. Did I mention it has to clean, elegant and scream sophistication and upscale, but USED furniture/ home décor?
We want people who visit the sight to understand from the very first page that this isn't just used furniture. We do not sell furniture from our site. We have 3 locations Williamsburg, Nashville and Wayne, Pa. All pictures used should represent consigned furniture, in a staged (for sale) type setting. We are trying to create a website that helps prospective customers or consigners to understand the high quality standards we stick to when selecting furniture for display at our showroom. We hate our old site, this is why we launched this contest.
