Erwolf got their new web page design by running a design contest:
website design for Alt10
Check out Erwolf's Web page design contest…
This is primarily a B2B site. It doesn't get a lot of traffic but does need to have an extremely high conversation rate. The company creates web-based tech solutions for use in the Direct Sales industry. They need to represent themselves as technologically advanced, professionally competent and the best in their field. I know this probably sounds all too common, but it's true. They're selling $30-100,000 custom software solutions (Customer Relationship Management or CRM) directly to industry higher-ups that will then distribute it down their chain. This is NOT for big corporations or small business owners, but Direct Sales masters and companies.
STYLE We're looking for submissions that convey class, prestige and professionalism though clean design while sticking (mostly) with industry standard layout. This is not an artsy, childish, fun loving site. We need a look that business prospects view and instantly feel like they can trust the abilities of our company.
PAGES We need two pages in the design. A HOME page and a DETAILS page. HOME - Logo in the upper left. Navigation centered or right aligned. Search bar in the upper right or sidebar. Slider area under the navigation. We like having 3 or 6 "highlights" with custom icons or pictures and a sentence of information. Then a little page content displaying below that. The footer will have 3 or 4 widgets. DETAILS - For every subsequent page on the site. Repeat the logo and navigation placement. The sidebar can go left or right side (we're thinking right). The body is the main part. Not sure if we want a watermark on the body area or a frame or something else.
What to avoid
Too much clutter or poor attempts to artistic. It's about clean, simple, polished, perfect design.
Note the colors in the logo. Attached also is the PSD file for the premium theme that we want to work with. Domain: www.Alt10.com Current draft: www.ProCntr.com/Altten FRAMEWORK The website is built on an updated WordPress platform using premium themes from Themify.me. We'd like the design to stay close to the theme framework in most cases. Attached you'll find the PSD files from the company. Please use them as a reference for the layout. DELIVERABLES We'd like PSD files for both of the pages. And either PSD or AI (preferably AI) files with the custom icons and buttons that you design for the site. NOTE The winner may have the opportunity to help us design our letterhead, business card and a few other collateral pieces.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Web page design starts at €549.
