The world is rebuilding from the first eugenic war, a conflict between genetically altered "augments" and their natural ... Although the conflict was mild and could be ceased without too much bloodshed, there is an even bigger crisis on the horizon: Genetic immortality is within reach within mere years, but as it seems, not everybody will have access to it and below the surface a massive crowd of "mortals" ravels to put the wealthy few in their ... Ines Schultheiss is a young (female) police psychologist who barely survived the eugenic ... She's summoned to Straßbourg: A group of seperatists has occupied the (former) European Parliament building, where an important security conference takes ... They are threatening the execution of hostages unless there will be formal legislation against immortality ... Ines Schultheiss finds that some of those hostages actually already are getting infused with parts of these "immortality genes" and realizes that there will not be much time before many people ... Of course she has to stop them - but there is a problem: The seperatists have joined sides with some of the (previously living underground) Augments, so she's against superior muscular power and ... As if that wasn't bad enough, the Straßbourg chief of police is eagerly asking the minister of internal affairs to mount an saault with special forces - an endeavour sure to take a massive blood ... - Deutsche Details Ich wünsche mir ein "Concept"-Art, das derart gestaltet ist, dass ich es zuschneiden und Formatieren kann, sodass es sich als Buchcover und Facebook-Banner gleichermaßen eignet - alle benötigten grafischen Elemente (Titel, Barcodes ... füge ich selbst ... Das bevorzugte Format ist... cm x...,5 cm mit... ... Das bedeutet natürlich als Einschränkung, dass die rechte Hälfte für sich genommen nach Möglichkeit als Cover geeignet sein ... Zum Inhalt: Das Jahr ... Die Welt erholt sich vom Eugenischen Krieg, dem ersten Konflikt zwischen genetisch aufgewerteten Menschen und ihren "natürlichen" ... Obgleich der Konflikt beigelegt werden konnte (die Augmentierten Supermenschen wurden auf die Färöer verbannt), schwebt eine noch größere Krise über der sich neu sortierenden Zivilisation: Gentechnische Unsterblichkeit, zumindest aber Verjüngung rückt in greifbare Nä... Ines Schultheiss ist eine junge Polizeipsychologin (denke: Charlotte Lindholm im Tatort, nur in cool und jung), die gerade so die Schrecken des eugenischen Konflikts überlebt ... Sie wird nach Straßburg gerufen: Eine Gruppe Augments hat das ehemalige europäische Parlament (das als Motiv oder zumindest Andeutung wäre natürlich super!) besetzt, in dem eine wichtige Sicherheitskonferenz stattfindet und droht die Geiseln nacheinander zu ... Ines Schultheiss findet mit der Zeit heraus, dass einige Teilnehmer der Konferenz zur priveligierten Schicht gehören und erste (genetische) Verjüngungsmethoden in Anspruch genommen ... Die Augments fühlen sich betrogen, wenn auch gen-normale Menschen plötzlich an sich herumbasteln dürfen und verlangen eine Ächtung jeglicher ... Ines Schultheiss muss verhindern, dass... Unschuldige sterben und das große Symbol der europäischen Einigung in die Luft gejagt wird - sie sieht sich dabei nicht nur dem überlegenen Intellekt der Geiselnehmer entgegen, sondern auch dem ungeduldigen Straßburger Polizeipräsidenten, der erwägt, das Gebäude zu stürmen, was unmittelbar ein Blutbad zur Folge hä...
