Description of the organization and its target audience
Our group owns several hotels in Ogunquit, Maine, United States. Our hotels range from motel-style to mid-range resorts. Some feature onsite restaurants, and all have onsite pools.
Ogunquit is a beach town in New England, and our target audience is people driving from Canada, Boston, and New York to visit. Our peak season is in summer, and many of our hotels are season (meaning they close in the winter). Ogunquit attracts families and older couples to visit, and many of our guests have come to the same hotels for many years, often traveling with multiple generations of family.

This will be displayed on our website, but will also be on things like print outs, rentable bikes, and memorabilia, so it must stand out visually.
The overall feeling should be classic, but modernized so that it doesn't feel old.
The atmosphere of the area is very water-oriented, so imagery that could work include: water, waves, ocean, sailing, shellfish (mussels, oysters), lighthouses, and seashells.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
