The project is about offering resources to help us lead a fulfilling life through insight and cultivating good ... "Glückslaterne" is German (Glück = happiness, Laterne = lantern, the letter 's' is just a filler to glue those word ... "Ein kleines Licht" (= a small light) could be added as a tagline but I'm not sure about ... Currently my project is a website but in the future I also want to offer products like cards, booklets ... The content is a mix of simplified scentific and philosphical insights about basic human needs/practices like exercise, diet, relationships, mindfulness ... combined with tips and tricks to develop mindsets and habits that help us accomplish more in these areas and thrive in ... As the project touches sensitive / emotional topics the logo should reflect peace and calmness and a sense of hope symbolized by the light of the ... However it's all in the making and I'd be happy to change the whole style to suit the new ... UPDATE: Thanks everyone for your contributions! After the first designs coming in my ideas are getting ... Here are a few additional thoughts: ... The design should be much simpler than most of the contributions so ... Friendly but clear forms and not to many ... Green or blue and a spark of orange/yellow to represent the light is ... Simplicity and minimalism are also part of the project's ... It's about concentrating on the essential things and finding happiness ... ... If you're going for two parts with one part representing happiness and the other part the lantern/light the lantern should be the main ... However I'd prefer a solution in which the lantern is the only (vaguely) recognizable form and the aspects of hope and happiness are represented in a more abstract ... It could be something akin to a smile but not an actual ... Just rounder forms and warmly colored light inside or eminating from the lantern could be ... ... I'd love to see more typography based ... Maybe you can play with the letter G and try to turn it into a ... I also feel that a cursive font could be suitable to convey the aspect of happiness in a more abstract ... So to summarize the logo should ... ... be very ... ... look like a lantern (not necessarily at first sight but at least if you know it's a lantern it should become obvious). ... convey happiness using warm colors, round forms ..., maybe adding a smile in a subtle not too obvious ...
