Alebrije: Brightly colored Oaxacan-Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures (does not mean turn… María into an animal...unless the design has reason for that). Elements can be stylized after or inspired by the art, codices, symbols, and patterns of: Zapotec, Mixtec, & Mesoamerican cultures. Oaxacan street art color schemes or stylized after. (Incorporating a heptagram/seven-sided star, subtly, is a complete bonus, but absolutely not required). Design is being intended for silkscreen printing. Feel free to branch out!
